Cami of Cami Monet

Hey y’all! I’m Cami, and I’m a watercolor artist and custom wedding stationer based in the Sunshine State. I also have a line of real cute paper goods available for retail and wholesale, so it can almost feel like I run two businesses sometimes! I grew up painting in my dad’s art gallery (he’s also a watercolor artist!), and I learned everything I know from him. Of course, my mom ran the nitty-gritty details of the family biz, and we’ve always said that I get my sense from my Mama and my nonsense from my Papa!

I am super passionate about helping other artists understand their worth and unique value they bring to the creative industry, and I am even more passionate when it comes to pricing for profits. (No starving artists at our party!) I believe in making room for everyone at the table and always taking a second helping of dessert. Life’s short, ya know?

Hey there, I’m Elisabeth! I’m a calligrapher and wedding invitation designer based in Atlanta, GA. I grew up watching my Dad model entrepreneurship in my home, and I knew someday I wanted to have my own business too! My business started with one-off custom calligraphy pieces & a whole ton of wood signs (too many too count) before I really broke into creating wedding invitations for high-end luxury weddings… let’s be honest, I’m still in the middle of the climb.

Running a business is far from easy, and I had no idea what I was getting into when I went full-time in 2016. I’m lucky I have a knack for numbers (I love them) and enjoy the business sides of things, but this definitely doesn’t come naturally for most creatives! I’m excited to help you gain the confidence you need to run your business successfully and make a profit. I can’t wait for you to get started!

We’re Cami and Elisabeth, two best friends who met on the Internet by going full-time with our stationery businesses on the exact same day! (September 16, 2016 to be exact!) We both took verrrry different paths to get here (Elisabeth planned on going full-time and put in her two weeks, and Cami was laid off from her dream journalism job when the magazine folded.) We have very different stories, solutions, and processes, but we’ve had the same end goal since the beginning: do this, and do it well!

We’ve been each other’s shoulders to cry on (not over boys, but over client mishaps and big ole OH CRAP moments) and cheerleaders for each other’s success. And when we decided to officially meet in person for the first time celebrate our one year biz birthdays together (September 16, 2017), we knew we wanted to make it a party not just for us, but for you too. We hosted a free webinar sharing our biggest tools, resources and strategies that helped us go full-time, match our corporate income and figure out those pesky details like taxes, how much coffee goes into an invitation suite, where to find clients who love and value you, the best printing places and how hard it is to be your own boss.

We’re on a mission to help creatives like you — ambitious artists, calligraphers and stationers — get on the right path (and stay there!) so you can celebrate your biz birthday too. Are you ready to say HECK YES to getting your crap together in your biz? Then you’re in the right place! Welcome to the Biz Bash party!
